Clio 2 - Lack of modifications

  Mk2 Golf GTI

Is it just me or is the Mk2 clio overlooked in the modifying scene? hardly anyone seems to bring out new products regularly like they do for 206s saxos etc even though they are just as popular, especially with free insurance deals.

I want some rear LED clusters or projectors for mine but nobody does them. Surely if someoen started making this sh*t it would sell well because most of the kits etc for the mk2 are cheap and tacky IMO. Id like something like a rieger kit, subtle but smart looking without looking all max power. (i know rieger make the splitter kit but no full bumpers)

What do you lot reckon?

Youre probably right, but in a way isnt this a good thing.....................?

Limits how much Gav the Chav can ruin the Clios image with stick on bits?

i think the clio 2 has a lot going for it tuning wise, i know what you mean about exterior styling, but the 172/cup/182 models are a lot rarer than saxos, pugs and corsas

The clio 1 was far worse off a few years ago IMO. Clios always seems to get left out or be the last to get the latest mods though.

  Not a Clio anymore.....

Agree with you mate. There is stuff out there of good quality but generally will have to pay a bit extra as its not readily available for the Clio unlike the Saxo or Corsas etc.

Then again with a bit of know how and time you can create a more individual look rather than sticking on a whopping great carzone kit or the like.
