Clio 200 Exhausts. Gains, if any?

Just gonna throw this up there, for debate no doubt.

Are there actually any gains from a decat cat back on the 200?

Spoke to scorpion exhausts at ford fair, the guy told me their 200 exhaust gives 10-12hp. I smell bs.

What are the realistic gains from an exhaust?

From a cat back on a n/a car? None to 2 bhp usually. On a turbo car it may be more as back pressure is more critical. A full system inc headers (manifold), down pipe, sport cat/de cat and a re-map may see 10-15 on a n/a car. You'd need a uprated air filter to.

Yeah I already have an ITG panel filter.

I thought he was talking rubbish. Still want it for the noise though!

It will make more noise. Nothing else.

That's coming from personal experience from a cat back on a ph1 172 and a decat system on my 182.

Well I have a ktec cat back and decat pipe on its way to me. Should be with me tomorrow to hopefully be fitted Friday!!
