Clio alloys gettin tooo dirty!!

Ive just put sum alloys onto my clio,

The front 2 are already stinking dirty after about a week whilst the back 2 are only a lil bit dirty,

Is there anyway of stoping them from gettin so dirty?

one my mates sed summin about wax or sumthing?

Put a coat of wax or get some break dust barrier for them from Halfords.. Wont stop it from sticking completely but will be easier to wash off..

Hmmm cheers mate,

I need some springs first,

I had 3 balld tyres so i had to put them on but i wantd to get springs coz it looks bit stupid atm!!

I cant afford any either n xmas is soo far away haha!

mine are a nicer shade of anthracite at the moment. I might "polish" the lip of them tomorrow :eek:

You can buy brake pads that don't give off as much dust mate, although they aren't as efficient as stopping AFAIK. Learn to live with it, or just coast to a stop at every junction...

Mate of mine used to put a coat of vaseline on his pepper pot alloys on his Mk4 Ford Escort years ago. Sweared by it too...

He always got weird looks though going into Boots to buy 5 jars of the stuff ;)
