Hi all I have been offered a renault clio dci 80 on a 53 reg for £200 the car currently drinks oil and water for fun and is throwing black smoke out for fun at lower revs, my plan is to completely strip the engine down and rebuild I think the head gasket is ok at the mo, my diagnostics as to what the problem is could be piston rings EGR valve and or turbo just wondering if anyone else has had similar symptoms with the deisel and could perhaps shed more light on the matter however i want opinions on whether or not this project is worthwhile
