Hi Guys!
Finally after months of wondering where the knocking noise was coming from 5 minutes with my mechanic friend and he was able to pin point the problem to the near side drive shaft. So as he took a closer look at the driveshaft he found that the wish bone and a few bolts in the surrounding area were loose. After we tightened the bolts extremely tight the knocking noise when turning the steering wheel is gone! No more knocks!
The ride has actually improved quite a bit and the steering feels sharper
If the problem still continues I recommend a new driveshaft NS or OS or get check your suspension top mounts!
