Hi All.

Been ages since I've posted on here, but thought I'd put some clean pics up The pictures don't do it justice, other than hiding the swirl marks :rofl:

Just had a wash using 2BM and Chemical Guys Wash & Gloss, and dried with a microfibre drying towel. Went round with Quick Detailer afterwards to get a few missed bits in the washing process. It had a hand polish with AutoGlym SRP before Christmas '08, and has been topped up monthly with Collinite 476.

Thanks Kerry. No, I had a bodyshop do the colour coding for me. I've not got the patience to do it myself!

It's an automatic gear box, but with the ability to use it manually. I use it manually all the time now. Forward on the stick to change up, back to change down

They're Bosch Aerotwin wipers. Work really well, so much so I use them half as much as my original ones. I got my set off Ebay. And yes, they're a straight forward clip on fitting.

Very clean, tyres dressed well too.

Thanks Alex I use Meguiars Hot tyre Shine. I spray it on to an old paint brush, and that works well for applying it.

Yes, I got it due to a spasm in my left foot, but preferred it to the standard autos as you can use it in a semi-auto mode. I love it, and use it manually all the time now

As it is I've been having lessons in a manual, and can manage a clutch now, so roll on getting a 172/182 this year :approve:

How do you rate the 476?

Heard it's a c**t to apply/remove?

I've had no problems with 476, in application, or removal. Just have to make sure you don't leave it on too long in the hot sun though, as it can be a pain to remove then! I usually leave it for about a minute when it's in the sun. Main reason for buying it was for the beading, it's fantastic

Indeed it is, but then I'm biased

lol, that's the only problem, being able to see the arches, but they're due to be cleaned soon, so it won't look so bad once they're done!
