Cliosport @ the Castle Combe Action Day - 21/04/07

yeah mine was the black 182 with the writing writing as said above, i was on the "topsecretcrusing" stand.
Track was ace, i lost the back end on quarry and span off the track into the grass coz i went abit too fast!, thank god nothing was close behind lol (nice pic above of it ). But was great fun and cant wait till next time!

Found Quarry by far the hardest corner and had bad lines most of the time, nailed it once or twice but gearing is also awkward, was holding third later on when the brakes were dying and i was less aggressive.

Everybody always says the same about quarry. Seeing you guys out there has fired me up to get a track car done.

when i was with the instructor around combe, they were saying how it is hard to fine the apex of the bend around quarry nice track tho !!

Are the cones the best line or are they the safe line for novice use?

Back end felt so light around corners?
Really wanna get some coilovers by next time.

Only 3rd and 4th! I had to grab fifth on the start finnish straight as was hitting the limiter in 4th, albeit for a moment.

2nd certainly needed for the esses :S

The supercharged Civic is Dylans, lives local to me. Passed loads of cars easily on the straight, very fast.

Still gutted though, would love to have been there to catch up with everybody.

He's a regular at Combe, top guy. Just does it for fun but his equipment his pro-level, very expensive stuff.

My 4th gears goes to 120mph before the shift light hits.
I only went to about 115mph. My 5th would be shite on track lol. (is urs remapped?)

Was a good outing first time i took the cup on track seen a few pics of it on here CV52. Went out twice the first time was quality very little went past. Went out a second time straight away and nearly got taken out by a Mk1 escort spinning in front of me at Hammerdown and my new GSD3's got too hot. But for a near standard cup i was well impressed want to do it again.
