cmos battery, where to get one.

Hi all, I have an old ACER travelmate 220, and it needs a new motherboard/cmos battery, its a normal CR2035 3v battery with a couple of tags and a small lead off it.
Does anyone know of a good laptop repair/supply service in the south east, as I hate ebay!!
Seems a shame to bin the laptop as it has RS Tuner, Omex, Dialogys etc on it.

Any pics? Doesn't sound right that all the CMOS batteries i've seen just pull out and push in. No wires/tags that you mention?

They should just pop out I have never come across a motherboard, laptop or desktop were they are any different! We normally buy a batch from the pound shop or maplin to replace them with at work.

Wired battery similar to apple MacBook ones. Only found new ones in the US.

You had a multimeter on it to make sure it's definitely duff?
