Cold air feed removal (std 182)

Car  Anything from the fleet
HI,

I know this has been covered before in great detail but I just need to know one simple thing. If I disconnect my cold air feed from my standard 182 air filter, I get quite a nice sound. However, what are the disadvantages of doing so? Does performance suffer? Am I likely to affect the ecu?

Thanks for any advice

Andy

no ecu change, performance not much, on a cold day it will be better than stock on a hot day it will be worse than stock

none, but u will be booting it to hear the noise so only if u do this lol.............which u will btw
