As title suggests.

Its very creaky. Only when hot, stuck it traffic and after a enthsicatic drive. Tbh it almost sounds dry? Like it needs lube. I do plan on changing it soon but have a lot on and the last time I left this prolong it ended up wrecking my rachet system on my 19 16v.

Anyone got a lil advice on maybe how I could sstop it creaking so much or maybe know of the correct problem?

Thanks in advance. Josh.

I have the same problem, but mines is deffinatly pedal related, i spent an evening lubing the pedal system but to no avail, i belive the creak is coming from the other end/ engine bay just past the firewall. But i cant get near it to lube it, i would have to take the black dirt protector off that covers the whole firewall. If your pressure plate fingers are creaking then i dont know if theres much you can do, may be possible to spray lube in through the clutch fork boot and hope it gets on the plate, with the car on the plate will be spinning. But lets see what others say, as you wouldnt want grease all over the cutch and flywheel.

I went to see Fred last night at BTM, and he noticed my squeaking clutch as soon as i pulled up. Its basically the cable and all of them do it when hot, nothing to worry about just part and parcel of the clio. Give him a call and he will confirm this for you to put your mind at ease

Yea its defo my cable to, i bought a can of white lithuim grease today to sort it.

You can also try removing the rubber gator on the gearbox bell housing, inside there is a little pivot point for the clutch fork and if that isn't lubed it'll creak like a b**ch when it gets hot. I tried spraying white lithium grease on it, but it kept boiling off, so sprayed copper slip on it instead, which has solved it.

Just be very careful spraying grease inside the bell housing.

Aww this is Defo the clutch itself or around that area. It's not the cable or a normal creak. It dd creak a lil before but not like this. I think a cheap clutch was a bad move tbh.

Bell housing? Location please.

Not to sound too harsh, but take it to a garage if you can't find the bell housing.

If you're spraying grease anywhere inside there you need to be sure you aren't going to cover the clutch in it.

No offense taken mate, don't worry.

Will take a closer look Monday.

Thanks.
