Cup in for noisy front suspension!

I booked my cup in 2day for its squeeking front suspension to get looked at. The guy said its not dangerous and renualt know about it, something to do with the degree settings on the suspension but he said he wasnt positive about it. Anyway said it would take about half a day to fix so it can be done while im at work.

Does anyone know if this is will upset the cupss sharper handling due to the camber settings being changed at the front of the car? And is that whats involved?

They cut away part of the suspension turret. As the guy said known fault, mine had this done.

Didnt change anything handling wise, but cured the noise.

I had the same work done on my standard 172 MK2, but it made no difference. My problem was more of a knocking sound than squeek. So maybe they fixed the wrong thing.

Does anyone know if they corrected these problems on new 182s ?

I am thinking of buying a 182 but didnt want to go through the same thing again.

I had it corrected on mine, too, at about 6000 miles - now done 26000 and havent had any bother with it since.
