Custom Air Filters

I was reading some article in local auto-mag about a guy that tuned his car...bla bla bla...and he said that he made custom cone filter.

Is that true? If it is, where can I find website tat describes the process? I searched all over, but nothing came up...

he probably meant he fitted a universal cone filter, these can be bought from k+n, pipercross, etc for cars which arent listed in the applications. You do need to know the inlet diameter size for the cone then use some ducting for the airflow

I made one for the Poo06 GTi from an AX GT induction kit that I got for £15 in Halfords and some silver ducting stuff. Worked fine....car was still sh*t though!
