Went to the RS owners club trackday on Saturday!

Very funny!

Im noy saying this about all RS owners, but the reputaion is spot on for most. Theyre numpties!

I think the proof is that fact there was a police presence! not only on the surrounding roads but in the f**king car park too. Ive never seen this at any other marques events!

Highlights of the day:

Mint condition silver 3dr sierra coss hanging the tail end out for fecking miles round quarry.

Not so mint looking shaphire coss looking less mint after hitting the armco HARD at quarry.

And a bloke thinking he was funny. A scooby overtook a cossie and he saw me sat in the impreza and decided to shout some thing along the lines of dont let that piece of sh*t over take you! his mates were laughing along!So i replied the funniest thing is that piece of sh*t is prob running 100bhp less! he didnt say any thing just walked off with his friends laughing louder at him!

Goodwood on sunday we way better tho!

I was there aswell and i was quite impressed with it all considering i hate fords... changed my opinions on a few of them.

The impreza on the track loads of times during the day looked poor in comparison with most of what was going around to be totally honest with you, dont know if that was you?? in my opinion and that of most of the people stood where i was watching anyway.

What the f**k was the crack with that metro?!?? gave the EVO something to worry about didnt it...

The police often choose to sit in the local villages around there when anything is on, easy target isnt it.

Ive never seen the coppas at combe b4, Im there all the time my second home in the summer!

Oh yeah that imp on track looked sh*te understeered everywhere. I dont rate the scooby on track at all they get slaughtered by Evos, was just taking the piss outta the gobby bloke.

The gold mk1 golf with steelies on was fuggin rapid too.

The fastest this round quarry all day was the Orange Mk2 Escort with black wheels, v.impressive.

Shame the Hadland/Reyland(?) 700 bhp escort broke down tho!

If he had of kept his boot in it wouldnt have snapped back so badly! Thats sooo easy to say from behind the armco!

Didnt notice the golf, to bloody hot really i wasnt paying much attention!!

The police often sit on the stretch between bumpers farm and the motorway when somethings on(so im told i dont go that way), and at the last action day i went to they were in yatton keynell but not for very long. there was a fair few out and about saturday though thats for sure!!

That scooby did look sh*te, handled like a bag of b****cks in my opinion! never really liked ford at all, but i saw some nice cars saturday, really hate focuss but the RS is a bit nearer the mark for me.

I wasnt that impressed with the focus RS, the white Rwd Focus cossie was spot on tho!

yeah that focus had a bit of go in it!!! never said i liked the focus did i??! just that the RS was a bit nearer the mark, still wouldnt have one but talking to a few of the owners they seemed chuffed. never really been a ford fan, getting quite attached to the old cosworths now though they certainly draw attention.

I went with a mate who has a sierra cosworth (hatchback one??) and its a cracking car to be a passenger in... his gf and mine went together in her racing puma - not a car i knew alot about but they certainly look the part compared with the standard puma which i hate

Tell you what is was also the first time ive seen a traffic jam on a fappin track! The end of the parade lap that is.

Cossies are quite funky, I just dont like the way they all smoke tho. All to do with being oil cooled I believe.

Ive never been out on track at combe, but went to a trackday at goodwood last sept had a passenger ride in a Noble m12 gto & a slick shod Porker GT3 with race pipes on it! Awsome, only thing is they didnt get upto the same antics as the sideways sierra boys!

we reckon the parade lap could of done with just 2 or 3 rogue drivers just to go like F$$K and stir it up, a few of the RS boys at the back were playing around a little.

I presumed the smoke was just tired seals on the turbo or something, thats the impression i got from my mate? Chris H or BenR could probably answer this properly but cossie egines have oil sprays on the pistons or something that burn a little each and every stroke, same as on the 16v engine which scared me the first time i noticed it had used oil.

There was a parade lap on the first CCC day of the year, some bloke in a Toyota MRpoo span it 4 times in 2 laps!

Some of the tuned cossies must go thro oil like I go tho petrol!
