Small update, i've managed to tick one thing off the list - A Battery cover. It's made the engine bay much more tidy, I like it!

I'm currently in the process of getting some quotes to get the engine cover and front strut brace sprayed so hopefully that will be one of the next updates!

Pretty much ruled out getting a Silver 182 until I see this. Looks so clean and fresh.

What wax/sealant you using?

I used the Werkstat Acrylic stuff on my old Silver Clio, so easy to use and made the paint pop.

Makes me want to get mine looking good again, the paint work has gone to pieces though, needs a proper correction

Just plain silver, I've seen a few colours and it just doesn't look as clean. Dawn did hers silver a couple of days ago and it looked superb

They don't come with metal footrests just plastic ones so people buy a metal plate to match the pedals usually.. myself included.

Misses has a RS Megane 225 and that's the same as yours

Ohh, I see - I didn't realise that! Strange considering the pedals are metal, would have thought they would have matched the footrest as standard

With PFC Expo just around the corner I am trying to tidy up the car as much as I can - Which is proving difficult with the weather being so shite!

I made a start with the engine bay tonight, i'd already done a couple of bits a few weeks ago. I removed the air box surround, gave it a really good clean and applied a bit of back to black to bring the colour back to life.

Thank dude! I thought about doing that but once i'd given it a hoover it looked nice a tidy so decided to keep it. Need to get coolant bottle changed like you, makes such a difference.

Today has been a busy car related day!

Started the day by going over to a mates house so he could give me a hand adjusting my exhaust hangers. The exhaust sat a little too high, and too far over to the right for my liking - So much so that it's melted one of the exhaust surrounds.

Fitting the powerflex exhaust mounts on Saturday must have cause extra strain on the exhaust where it looks to have been repaired previously (we didn't notice the welding when we were fitting the mounts!:rage which caused it to split.

It made the drive home from the show extremely loud... :confounded: On the plus side, at least I can have a nice new and shiny new exhaust!
