Dan's clean cup

Seems a bit weird posting these pics after what happened on Saturday.

I offered to give Dan@SJM's cup a properly good clean up, he dropped it off the night before and i cracked on with it the next day.

Some befores...

Then started with the washing. The whole car was rinsed, sprayed with APC, left, then rinsed.

Some evidence of previous LSP

The car was then snowfoamed twice. The badges & grill etc were agitated with a brush to get them nice and clean

Attacked the pretty bad wheels with Iron X and Very Cherry.

Then i gave it a good wash using a lambswool mitt and Dodo btbm. And rinsed

The cloudy headlights

All taped up ready for polishing

The paint wasn't in terrible condition so i gave it a going over with megs 205 on a polishing pad and finished off with tripple. This left a very glossy finish
Tyres were done with megs endurance, and the glass with AG Fast glass. The plastic trim was done with Chemical guys new look trim gel.

I don't suppose after what happened on Saturday you could polish it out? You may be good, but not that good

Hey, at least the car looked awesome as it was knocked off the circuit! Little compensation I know...

There will be a filthy Trophy in need of some TLC once it comes back from the workshop. I hear it's under several mm's of dust and grime. Lesley? Interested?!
