Not much to tell really, always been a VW man and still own a mk1 Golf GTI (probably always will, I've come to realise) but I was looking for a little runaround to cover the 25 mile daily commute and spotted this for sale.

By no means a minter, but goes well and seems to be pretty economical so far.

No plans beyond the functional, service, replace leaky shock absorber and worn ARB bushes etc.

Ohh I always wanted a mk1

I know you were looking at sorting out the shock. Definitely hasn't got a wide track conversion so you should be okay with just a normal DCI shock. Maybe it has slightly drop lowering springs.
