Decat on standard-ish system?

OK, got a cat back stainless system, but built to standard renault size. Stealth tailpipe on it. Ever so slightly louder than standard, but not that you would notice.

Now, just wondering how much difference a de-cat is going to make to it?

Massivley loud and annoying, or a tiny bit louder and free up some horses?

It should make it abit louder and a few cheeky pops and bangs.
With de-catting you tend to loose abit of torque but gain some horses...
