Managed to straighten out the battery cover. The kink is still there but is mostly hidden by the induction bend.

Got camber y0! by Dr-Jekyll, on Flickr

I took many looks at it at many angles and i dont like the camber. Its too much for my liking. This leaves me needing to order new hub spacers which after last orders is not going to happen, find a 2nd hand set or get camber shims and reverse the camber. I had a look on Ktec's website and they are £15 for the pair:

http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=3630

Also i have decided not to fit the 25mm spacers and order some 20mm H&R/FK ones. After looking at numerous pics on here i prefer the look of the 20mm ones. These will be ordered this week hopefully. The Dan@MAD ones are currently for sale ;)

Also quickly fitted Alex's rear lights off he's Ph2 after seeing a load of silver Ph1's with them fitted.

Ph2 rear lights Vs Ph1 rear lights by Dr-Jekyll, on Flickr

Actually think it suits really well after seeing them in the flesh, hmmm.

I like the originality of it they look very dull compared to the Ph2 ones. The silver centers look rather nice on it. I shall have a think over it....

And so the transormation in to a PH2 begins.

Lexus springs to mind.

  Many.
Completely disagree with all of you!!!

Ph2 lights look soo much better. Much much fresher.

I've been saying to Mark for ages, needs Ph2 rear lights. I prefered the Ph2 strips etc, However the black strips do work. I also agree with Mark about keeping the Ph1 rear bumper/boot etc. Just needs the lights to get rid of those nasty Ph1 items!

Couple of more pics of the Camber yo!

Personally, I don't mind it so much, I followed it up the road and it don't look as bad as I thought it would.

But Mark is picky, and I knew straight away that I was going to end up changing it again in the future!

Whopwhop that's the sound of the Ph1 police!

I'll tell you what Mark, your a mod, how about you just tidy up your last update, don't mention anything about the rear lights and we're forget this ever happened.

Like the looks of the ph2 lights on it Mark. Looks 10x better.

Whats all this spacer lark all about? I've never understood it myself....

Looking good mate, im unsure on my rear camber too, i think i prefer it with just the fronts done so ill probably take them off soon.

It doesnt suit the clio on the rears imo, the fronts look good tho.

Looking great and I agree in the rear camber. Looks far too try hard for an OEM+ car.

Genuine question but what difference does adding the ph2 board with the ph1 case do? I can't see how it would make any difference until the lights are on.

Got any pictures comparing both?

  Many.
Bulbs are in a differance place, Sorta.

I think its side and brake at the top, vs at the bottom as Ph2.

My DCi has the brake at the top (replacing the fog)

Thanks @Craig. Ph2 side strips do make it look fresher but i wanted to put a bit more originality back on. I may go back to ph2 strips at a later date but i like the look of how its meant to be atm Sorry @Rob

I think the silver ph1s pull the original side strips off better than the other colours imo.

Good mod the solid mounts I loved them when I 1st fitted them on mine.

The ones from ktec are powder coated in black.

DT ones will just be bare alloy which will go dole in time as there is no protection.

I had mine powder coated so this wouldn't happen couldn't be having scabby looking mounts in the engine bay lol.

Put the ph1 lens on a ph2 lightboard and see what you think mate

I'm still waiting for a picture of this said light off you :(

Big f*ck off multi-quote coming right up..... with an update at the end! ;)

Noooo don't do it!

Dont put ph2 lights on it!!

Ph1.5 lights ftw

And so the transormation in to a PH2 begins.

I'd get that light off quick before Scott see's it!

Edit: Too late.

I like it Mark.

We can't all have the same looking ph1's ;)

I think the ph2 rear lights suit a silver ph1 ;-)

Certainly mixed views! Nothing is definite yet ;)

Haha, I was having a cuppa when i read these and chocked on my drink! Lol

For looks tbh mate. The Ph1's really need it up front as the wheels look tosunk into the arches, more than the Ph2's.

Nowt wrong with a bit of camber, gives it a bit more of a purposeful stance imo.

I agree with Rhys and Tom, bobby. Its too much IMO and its not really for me on my car.

I like it Mark.

We can't all have the same looking ph1's ;)

Yours is better anyway mate ;) I got a lot of catching up to do!

Coming along nicely Mark! Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh and possibly going for a spin :)

Thanks Graham. The pics are better than in the flesh tbh. Exterior needs attention. But Yeah you can have a go :) Remind me the night before to put the door handles in the car to bring down as i'll probably forget

Agreed on the side strips Craig, although they do look great on Harphams!

I like the mounts so far mate. As said there is more vibration than standard but not enough to bother me. It feels better when giving it some too :race:

Ordered some 20mm spacers today. Decided with hubcentric H&R's.

http://www.larkspeed.com/index.pl?p=323HR4024601&a=i

I have also ordered some new wheel bolts. 8x M12 x 1.5 x 22mm with a 60degree taper for the fronts spacers as i know you need to shorten them and mine are manky and 8x M12 x 1.5 x the standard 26mm 60degree taper for the rears.

And i Have bought off Ph1 Tom some 1 degree camber shims to reverse the current rear camber

Yeah I noticed the vibration at first but it doesn't take long for it to just feel normal.

Good choice on the 20mm spacers mate, 25 is just abit too much imo.

Mark wont be wanting to try my ph2 side strips then!

I agree with your above comments on the mounts, never been in a car with them and standard interior though. In mine the vibrations are pretty noticeable.

@Craig 20mm was originally ordered but they sent 25mm! Dont know why but i was swaying towards H&R's over FK's. Larkspeed they should be a couple of days as they need to be ordered in.

As Craig said Dan, its iceberg. I actually prefer the look of titanuim i think but do like the fact that this is the rarer silver :)

Ph1 side strips are staying. I just need to get a decent set :(
