Early Christmas present - opinions

ordering myself an early Christmas present tomorrow and just wanted to know peoples opinions, I take it that its ok to use they springs with they shocks? £225 for the lot from motorsport world.

Koni Special front shocks
Koni Special rear shocks
Spax -60mm springs

pics to follow :D

Personally I'd try and go for Koni springs as well, simply because they will very probably have been done to match the dampers. Is there much of a price difference?

motorsport world didnt have any koni springs but i dont mind ordering them from somewhere else if i have to, i'll have a look about but if i cant get any will the spax springs still be ok with they dampers?

They should be, but they might not be quite as good as a matched kit.

I know you want them like now LoL but hold back if you can and get a set up that's been developed together IMO

not got a clue why it wouldnt fit i cant see the 1.4 16V and 1.6 16V being any different but i dont want to take the chance incase there is a difference, i'll just get the konis with spax springs i think :)

cheers for the help

Matey go for the full Apex kit, i've got it on my 1.2 dynamique and its spot on!

^ Id do that, Nice matching set. I wanted it but couldn't get it unless I got hub spacers :(

hub spacers?

you sure you dont mean new hubs, to change the bolt spacing?

the reason the kit wont fit MOST 1.2's is that the 1.2's have a 52mm bolt spacing. Although i'm sure the 1.2 16v is a 58mm bolt spacing.
