ecu query...

Car  clio mk2 1.4 16v
I heard that after installing an induction kit is it best to disconnect the battery for an hour so the ecu goes into learn mode, supposedly counteracting the air to fuel ratio imbalance?

Is this the case with clio's too? I have heard that the ecu can adjust over time anyway but thought this method was better as its quicker.

Don't worry about it, your not going to notice any difference other than a nice induction growl

Even though its enclosed with a cold air feed? I know that the 172/182's dont benefit much but i thought my car might as the oe box looks a lot more restrictive than that on the 2 litres.

Yeh just put it on and enjoy the sound mate. Itl feel faster cos it's louder lol so bonus there.

Might gain a bhp or 2 but nothing worth worrying about.
