are they any good to be honest! come may when i start looking at valvers,gti's! at the moment they are by far the best ! 1450 fully comp 12months on a valver with mods! and im 18 with 1 year driving exsp 0ncb!

any other companys u can recommend! cheers guys!

play elephant admiral and bell direct off against each other, I have for 5 years now and my insurance goes down by £100 a year.

With elephant & bell etc, it's always worth checking the excess as well !
Some times it's £650 !!! especially on young drivers - thats how some of the time they are cheapest.

adrian flux were the only company to beat elephant and bell for me... when they give you a quote take it and ask 'em if that's the best they can do. If they say yes throw in you're a member of cliosport and they should knock a few % off your quote

Elephant have always been best for me apart from my last renewal, but I'm 24 now, they seem to be best for younger drivers with low no claims.

I was with Bradford & Bingley.... Only they wouldn't insure me when I bought my 182 (they said I was too young - what BS) so I had to shop around sharpish... and I got it fully comp for me and 1 named driver with Norwich Union for £380.

But alot wouldn't insure me saying it was to do with my age...

(I am 26 with 7 years no claims)

Edited to say: I always use money supermarket and confused to compare quotes. I shop around every year.

elephant were the cheapest for my 172 at £1150 (no ncb) - i'm insured with Bell on my 205 they wouldnt match the £64 difference with elephant so i just took out a new policy for the Clio.

I'm going into my 3rd year with Elephant and I've been pretty impressed with the price and service. If they can match my no claims onto the CTR then I'll be with them for a few more years to come I think

yeah they bumped my renewal up by £200 this year (currently 25) so I'm going with Admiral instead as they quoted £471 with my exhaust compared to elephant at £600 odd

If your going to have mods on the car then go eith Greenlight as they don't put the price up. Have to be over 21 though!
