Bear in mind a VX is a lot less to insure than an Elise and is virtually the same car. That's why many people on here have had them! I think an Elise is group 19 or something silly. I think even a VX Turbo is cheaper to insure, although that is a bit crap out of the box.

i think a vx220 turbo is group 20. does 0-62 in like 4.4 secs lol

the 2.2 one is quite a low group though. 160bhp??

I always thought the trophy was a high insurance group (i know a elise would be still be a higher price to insure)

I've got a storm grey S2 and really like the colour...... (read dont love it).

Why.... well in my heart i wanted a Krypton Green or Yellow Sapphire Exige so a grey elise was a bit different. HOWEVER i use mine daily and i honestly think if i had a bright coloured lotus i wouldn't be able to park it some areas i do also feel a bit silly at times driving through edinburgh / glasgow.

Saying that i'd feel different if it was a weekend (sunny) car only.

yeah thats why i wanted the yellow as ill only realy use it on weekends as i have a company car, but still aint sure it just shouts out look at me.
