Engine and Wheel queries

couple of quick questions!

easy one first, will et 37 offset 15" wheels (7J) fit a phase 1 172 okay thats been lowered around 40 odd mm? i.e. won't sit out too far and rub on the arches?

secondly whats involved in putting a phase 2 172 lump from say an 03 plate car into a 2000 reg phase 1?just swap loom,ecu and throttle body or more?

wheels sound like they'll be fine to me, depends on the lowering springs and how stiff they are (lots of bounce meaning rubbing is more likely)

Easiest way to sort out engine is to use everything ph1 apart from the engine. keep the original loom, fit the ph1 plenum and tb etc, and the rest will go together exactly as standard
