Not that the engine bay was particularly bad before, i just wanted to give it more of an OEM look rather than all the red etc.

So, first image was taken the first week i bought the car:

First up was replace the header tank and a few bolts:

With the inlet off, it was clear that i had to do something with the rocker cover. Just used some silver paint VHT paint and applied with a brush.

After:

I then sent the upper inlet, fuel guard, battery cover and the bracket for the cover off to the powder coaters. Inlet and guard done in silver and the other in matte black.

Looks great, only thing that looks out of place now is the power steering reservoir, shame about the colour of it OEM.

+1, i hate mine!

Plus i have lost the little metal clip out of the back of my oil filler cover from my engine cover, anyone got a spare one or no what else i can use?

Looks great!

Good car to own, that one! ;) Arran did a great job of freshening up the car and I'm glad to see it still being looked after.

2 things:

- Where did you get the top mount covers from?
- Need to relacquer the carbon splitter ;)
