Engine Oil Topup - 182

Not got 1st service for another 2k miles, Dealer did engine oil change 6 months ago (6k miles ago)

I'm putting in some Silkolene Pro S 5W-40 fully synth at service

In meantime I need a slight topup, what should I use ?

I've some Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 fully synth, can I put a small ammount of that in ?

I have never had problems using slightly different oils on small top ups, go for it.

I think as long as you dont mix synthetic with non synthetic its ok
