using an air polisher

forgot to mention i also include fuel rail cover and alternator support arm in the price above too

you have to sand the surface perfectly flat before you polish it, takes hours by hand

takes me 5hours using air tools and bench polishers!!!!

Fred, how easy is it to take that thing off to change for one of yours?

Arent there loads of plugs and sh*t connected to it? i have visions of taking it off and having oil go everywhere! lol

^^^freds right. 20-30 mins job.

Only problem is that the Mk1 172 manifold is different to the Mk2 172/182 etc due to the fbw throttle.

Can you get hold of a Mk1 manifold for exchange with mine at all Fred?

^Pmsl...Dumbass!

its something id do aswell, can the renault sport bit be polished too?

Looks great, im pretty sure with the correct tooling this could be managed a piece of cake without having to remove the manifold. Get yourself to a decent tool hire joint and tell them what you need to do. And its your hard work to improve your car...

*finds some sandpaper*

reckon the stripes on the cover look good recon a few people who have got the stripes on there sport start doin your idea
