F4R straining after 6000rpm

Maybe its just me but my engine sounds like its straining 6000rpm onwards, is this normal with these engines??

as per your other thread, your cam timing sounds to be incorrect

how can i check timing pulleys without removing the engine mount??

cant......not that there are any timing marks to check.

im confused. how can i check whether my inlet and exhaust cam are correctly setup then??

Take the blanks off the 'other' side of the cam shafts, and see if the grooves line up when horizontal.
