Yeah, it's pretty cool... i've found myself miming "fcuk off!" when the cinematic bit shows the head leaving body.
Is there a perk to increase your critical hit percentage in regular combat though? Or does it just come with being a higher overall level?
Either way, it's cool as fcuk!

Yeah, looks like a good resource.
I was going to a pub quiz/meal tonight... although i think i'll just stay in, drink beer and play this now :S lol

Solution: Cancel all weekend plans. Dedicate rotating 12-hour sessions to each game. Allowing an hour's sleep a day.
lol cod5 can wait till crimbo...mirrors edge i'll get at the weekend as i can't see it being a very long game tbh

Well i went and killed all the f*****s in there and when i went back a few days later stuff was still on the Floor...im not saying stuff in the box will....You not got the house in MegaTon or you blow that place up ?

It did for me! I did the exact same thing. I chose Super Duper Mart as it was quick to get to and can loads of cupboards
All my stuff is still there... flamer, grenades etc etc
It's my emergency weapons cache

Yeh I've not seen anyone playing Far Cry... Shame really, bad timing for a release because it blatently gets overshadowed even though I know it's going to be a hoot online with the map maker.
Sorry I didn't reply to that message the other day mate, went out and left my xbox on by mistake.

Headed back to Megaton and thought I'd take up the original Wasteland Survival Guide Missions. I take it most people have done the super-market raid mission?
Anyways, I get there and sort out the four raiders outside. Enter the supermarket and obviously face a few more bad guys. Manage to kill them with little trouble and then have a wander around the store.
Came across the fridge where the food is stored and complete the first part of the quest. While I was there, I set about doing the optional sub-quest in finding the medicine too. While looking around, I come across the store tannoy system and switch it on - nothing but static.
Ah well, wanders off to the rear of the store and enter the back room after hacking the terminal. Goes in there and I notices the Protectron robot in its capsule. Ignoring it initially, I go rummaging through the boxes and then hear another bunch of raiders saying "...something's not right" - over the tannoy system that I switched on near the entrance!
Legging it to the Protectron, I hack its terminal and it goes out to handle the 'security breach' of the raiders. It takes on a couple before being destroyed while I pick off the remainders with the scoped Magnum from behind the counter.
Superb game design. Really clever.
Took a snapshot of my stats so far - decidedly average, lol.

I've managed a good few quests now, did a couple for Megaton including the Super Duper Mart, Went to the Museum (millions of super mutants), which got quite tricky... then went and sorted the Dish for GNR. Now gotta go to Rivet Town, or Slaughter "The Family", or place some Tracking thing for that nutcase at Crateside Supplies and some others too. Not far off Lvl 7 now, but need some serious caps, and some better gunnage. No idea how long i've spent on it, couldn't find that anywhere. Why do people blow up Megaton though?

Dukov pissed me off... and his two wh*res. So i gibbed 'em both in the face and made a fortune from the loot in his place. Win

I spoke to 'Cherry' and using the Speech skill managed to convince her to steal Dukov's key off of him. She agreed to it, so long as I escorted her back to Rivet City.
She got the key, flicked to World Map - travelled to Rivet City - job done. More good karma earned.
My halo is still intact. Kind of.

Awesome game. Got my three Stealthboys last night, all from Pinkertons workshop in the Bow of Rivet City (broken part of ship). He had a few shots at me, I had a few back. Noticed that although I took his life bar away a few times, he kept going off to regenerate health. I figured he must be quite an important character in the game and cant be killed yet. So I took off and gave it a few days before returning. Turns out he's the guy to speak to about the android mission, as it was him that did the work. Now I have a choice to make about telling "X" that they are the android, or telling Zimmer who it is. Hmm...
Fantastic game, though.
Oh, and another thing, I went to Vault 106 last night, and was wandering around in there, and the screen goes blue on occasion. I walked down a corridor and noticed 3 scientists. I hovered my target over one of them and it said it was my dad (in the game, obviously)! I'd found him!! He went into a room, so I followed, the screen went back to normal colours and he was nowhere to be seen!?
I continued on, and then realised that when the screen turns blue, its my character having a view into the past, which was very spooky at first, as guys in lab coats were running up to me and as I was getting my gun out or to talk, they ran right into me and disappeared before the screen returned to normal! So freaky!!
Then in one of the rooms on the lower levels, I "found" my dad again. I obviously couldnt talk to him, but it was quite neat that he was there in the same room before reality kicked in. A ghost, perhaps? Or just a flashback? Tidy, TBH.

What is essential in Megaton to move on in the game or can you just nuke it? Moriarty pissed me off upping the price from 100 to 300 for info on dad. I have started to help the bird write the book though and did the super douper last night. f**king molerats are annoying. What's the best way to dispatch them withough using too much?

Shotgun to the head. I dont f*ck about, TBH. I could stand there punching them, but cant be arsed.
Also, I diffused the bomb in Megaton, as there's some characters I'd rather not dispose of living there, plus I like my home and robot servant who offers me Purified water on demand. Colin Moriarty is indeed a bell end, but if you do decide to cap him, make sure its in stealth mode (hidden) so no one sees it. Otherwise you'll have the entire town on your back and you'll be lucky to get out alive. Also, he has his key on his person and I believe his password for his computer is with him, so all is not lost if you do kill him as the info about your dad and his whereabouts is on his computer, anyway.
