In the next month i'll be changing to a really low mileage Racing Blue 182, the 172 is staying in the family too and i'll still be insured on it.:approve:

FAO racing182 - I'm keeping my dark turinis and getting some coilover action asap, so my car will look very similar, could you post loads of pics up of your car to give me an idea? your car looks perfect imo. :approve:

Some pics of andy's wouldn't go unappreciated either. ;)

could anyone else post up pics of their racing blue 182's too please...

thanks!

I'll be interested to see how this looks. Dark turini's on racing blue....Brave boy chris, tho i don't think it'll look as good as your's!!

Depending on the ET of those turini's you might have issues. Cupped 182's + slammed on coilovers + lower offset wheels = arch rubbing big style.

Just hope you dont have the same issues Leeds_182 had. IIRC ET40 instead of the ET45 standard, it wasnt as low as makavelli's and it was hitting the rear arches big time, not to mention front liners wing brackets etc.

yeah, i remember that fiasco, gutting.

i'll check it out properly before i take the H&R plunge, i've ordered 40mm APEX until i can afford coilovers though, hopefully shouldn't be long though.

Didn't Gary have loads of problems with incorrect ET and coilovers as well? or am i getting mixed up?

Not wrong, hence why when i changed wheels i ordered ET45 not the ET37 i was being offered.

Dont blame you cheap way of getting a decent drop in the meantime.

He had issues with the clearance on calipers for definate with one set and not sure but think he had arch fouling with another set. But then Miketheman2k had issues with rota's too but that was corrosion related.

yeah i remember the rear calliper fouling the wheel. saw pictures of him attacking it with a hand file. lol

thanks for the advice fella. :approve:

Yeah, iirc the non trophy turini's will sit further out and as you can see on that pic of Andy's ^ It's fairly close as it is.

theres only 433 racing blues in the uk that makes them rarer than the trophy!

I saw two in the space of 5 minutes once! Seen quite a few trophys as well come to think of it, most of them seem to patrol the motorways.
