Looks a good day that. I'm glad the police are doing this sort of event, i think it helps build bridges between citizens/drivers and the force. Stops the alienation for some people and brings forth issues such as driving safely and with consideration. I like the fact that they've put the message of MSM across, sure its an obvious message but some people do need reminding.

On a side note i'd like to see more of these events, rather than shutting clamping down on " safe cruises" (where people just check out each others cars) its worth using the idea of a gathering of unique/modified/"chavvedup" cars and passing on a message which could save lives and give something that people can say they were part of. Kudos to the Police and the organisers behind it (imo).

yeah it was all organised by the police we asked if they required help and they just said let everyone know and by the looks of it everyone knew about it as there were some very ramdom cars and old ppl. and noway if it was organised by the public would we be able to have it at the famous TT grandstand

if there are any police on here id well recomend in getting in contact with the manx police and organising a similar event near to you are it was good to see the police backing it all.

the local forum in the isle of man the police are openly on it, not hinding under a user name and chat to us about our cars like mates wud but also bring a bit of road safety into the site. Also you can post up and report ppl for being a dickhead and they often end up looking in to it which makes our roads alot safer
