Filling rear bumper exhaust cutout

Getting a stealth backbox fitted tomorrow which will leave me with a nice oval in my lower bumper How would you guys suggest repairing this? I was thinking fibre glass on the back of the bumper and filler the front? Gunna get a quote for it to be filled and sprayed but will probably work out cheaper me doing the filling myself and just getting it sprayed.

bridge the gap with an old credit card or a filler spreader. anything really to bridge the gap n provide a solid base. bond it in place and scuff it up, fibreglass it, sand that down, then fill it

i would use some p40 fibre glass mix, put duct tape across the gap on the outside of the bumper, as it doesnt stick to it then apply the p40 from the back of the bumper, once this has formed a solid layer remove the tape then use p38 body filler and sand till smooth.

the same technique was used to smooth in fogs on this bumper

they have sprayed over the p38 filler with high build spray primer

need a solid base for fibreglass or itll flex too much, especially on a plastic front bumper

it isnt my bumper mate, i only used that technique to fill the holes left from cutting the slats out.

some people use wire mesh as a base to give the fibre glass something to stick to and make it stronger
