FINALLY fitted Day's old 172 bumper!!

After haivng it in the garage for the last 12 months I finally got round to fitting it today. I should have fitted it sooner as it now has a few scratches I hope to get out this weekend.

I have gone to Westover Renault and ordered the 172 rear mud guards and they are turning up tomorrow. can't believe the drivers side is £8 something plus VAT and the Passanger one is £26! plus VAT! Even the parts guy was shocked at the difference.

I'll give the car a clean once I've got them fitted tomorrow!

i went there today too... took me 14 minutes to get served at the parts desk, and i was at the front of the queue!

^ Agreed, if it wasn't for my cat getting hit by a car a month ago it'd be lower now. I haven't had any of my wages the last month they have gone to the vets! been told getting bonus next Friday so I can hopefully get it done within the next few weeks. 60mm drop.

Problem is the bloody service is Wed and I think I need a wheel baring doing.

I was lucky the guy was at the desk when i went in, he was really helpful though as I asked for the MK1 172 rear arches and he asked for my reg number and I thought here we go again, i don't have a 172, but he was excellent and found it in a few mins anyway.

I honestly think they are better now than the Olympian days!

Danm!!!! They just got me £42! Fit ok though so all good, just want to get some 172 or 182 pearl black colourcoded bumpstripes and get it lowered.

I'm still thinking of getting the black smoked rear lights, but waiting for more to appear on Ebay. Your Bumper looks so much better than the standard one, cheers mate!
