Fitting CL pads

How do those of you who run CL pads fit them? With or Without the little clips to stop the pads rattling? Mine are currently fitted with the little clips/shims and have been since I bought the car with them on. But was wondering if I should leave them out or just refit them like they are at the minute. Also how do you guys bed them in?

Without the clips the rattling drove me mad, over every little road imperfection they would rattle around made the car sound broken.

I retrofitted the clips form the pads i took out by drilling holes in the CL pads. Never heard them rattle again after..

Without the shims on mine, can't say that I hear them rattling though.

For bedding in they don't really need any specific procedure, just drive them as normal and warm them up on track first.
