fitting dog bone mount bushes

  Impreza STI v5
Hi all can someone tell me if it is a hard job to change the bushes on the dogbone mount or is it just a case of taking out the two bolts that hold it in place getting out the old cocolate ones and new ones in and bobs your auntie or is the mount suporting something please let me know cos doing it tomorow and don't want a big chunk of metal imbeded in my napper lol
:)

I think it's BB Tuning that do them, will make the ride very hard though! The centre of the dog bone has to be whacked out and replaced with your new one with lots of grease if I remember right? The mount supports the gear box that you might want to put a jack under (may not be necessary though) there are a couple of other bolts that you'll have to loosen first too to get the movement.

mini-valver

They make the whole car vibrate apparenty! Powerflex do then IIRC

Do you know of any company that does other uprated mounts ie top mount and gear box

Uprated bog bone moutns (well uptated rubber inserts) can be bought from Ktec etc cheaply.

Uprated other mounts whilst on sale arn't cheap running to a few hundred quid.
Chnage the dog bone mount and the other mounts wear more plus at idel the car shakes.
