The bonnet now won't close :dapprove: so I think it's time I fitted some aerocatches, as I do still plan on getting ITBs fitted one day.

Quick update..

Well the cambelt is due very shortly so plans are.

New cambelt/ belts etc.
438 cams
matched inlets
get rocker cover leak fixed
replace some broken engine bolts
fix horn ( which seems to have stopped working today) :dapprove:

Apart from the above the car is running well now on just under 139,000!

  TTRS & V50
You've definitely had some use out of it, a very wise decision to move on and you'll even get a fair bit of buck back splitting !

Any plans for the next track monster ?

http://www.cliosport.net/forum/show...dear-aux-belt-looks-like-it-s-had-better-days!

Well after this today. I will more than likely be breaking the clio, it's needs about 1.5-2k spending on it, and I think it's now time to move on to something else. :dapprove:

I think that's a bit of an overreaction, it's always needed the belts doing this year so nothing has changed.

Yes mate. It's had a hard life, now on 139,300.

More than likely a R26.R or Clio trophy.

You don't want an R26.r :p

The decision isn't really due to what happen today. It's more to do with that it's going to cost me a lot of money to get it where I want it cams ,roll cage etc. and the way MOT's are going I can't see it passing come December.

A R26.R with stage 2 should keep me happy enough ;)

A R26.R with stage 2 should keep me happy enough ;)

Fair enough still think it's wrong to break it, you don't need to do all that.

Only Stage 2 though ;)

Yeah done the 8 hour drive today so it shall be done soonish i hope. then just got to fit my nitrous and then abuse it.
I may pop along if i can actually get out of bed.

just but the r26r and even "IF" Tim can catch you on track you can play the "its standard card"

Maybe... But put yourself in my shoes. What would you do?

R26.R has better BHP per ton than your heavy bus :rasp:

I'd keep it as it's not a daily driver and you're lucky enough to have room. It's also the cheapest option for a track car from what you listed as it's either £1.5k for cams, £6k+ for a Trophy or £15k for an R26.r.
