You cant get shot of it. Its the only car i thought would be in team anorak till the very end. However you would be dangerous in an r26.r (in a good way).

Not really mate. The aux belt most defiantly was/ is catching against the pre tensioner ( spring) something around that area has failed. my biggest concern however is where the oil is coming from.. :S I checked the dipstick and the oil level is still spot on, and the car was pulling as well as ever on Sat.

I really could do with getting the engine out and having a proper look, or getting in to a garage for a full check.

The bumper is currently just clipped in place so It'll only take a sec to whip it off again.

I misread your post mate. I thought you were on about the carbon canister, that also needs to go.

It's easy, just a few screws and bolts to remove then it'll pull off.

How easy is it to remove mate? My condenser is no longer on the car and I have the 172 cup setup waiting to go on.
