So much work gone I to this. A serious inspiration in term of replacing for oe/oe+, subtle mods and the choice stuff too.
Car looks mint mate.
But Frayz....... it's just a daily remember?!
Nice Work mate 👍🏻
I need to fit my braided lines soon & brake fluid flush also
Thats a bugger mate i take it wrong ones?
Also have you been out to Abberton Reservoir for a Drive?.
I was thinking of going there early in the morning for a drive & get some photos. Was hoping the roads would be a bit dryer.
Thats s**t then mate, what other choices do you have for cables?,can you get gen ones still?
The OSR (long blue one) is still available.
The NSR is NLA.
Supposedly these are what people diy now, but they’re poor.
I had a nightmare with these. Pagid is a no go now...
In the end, went for genuine OSR and this for the NSR

Cheers mate. How well do these fit?
Perfect. I’ll order one of those and an oemPerfect for me, longer than the Pagid cables!
Glad you got it fitted okay! I found its best to get it tight on 4 clicks or so to start with as the cables will stretch to 7-8 clicks.
Could have just sat on a cushion dude...Small but satisfying job this morning. Since fitting the new steering wheel, particularly with the snap off hub, it places the wheel closer to the driver and as a result, a little higher than before. This is fine ordinarily, but as I will want it lower when I get the Pole Positions in. (Yes yes, I know I need to get them in)
I set about sorting some spacers to drop the steering column.
Just a 5mm spacer is more than enough time get the wheel much lower than before.
If you have an aftermarket wheel and also think it sits too high, I can highly recommend doing this. Takes about 5 minutes and makes a huge difference to the feel of the car.

I dont think I've seen many that use AST's with road springs so this will be interesting.
In a good way of course.
Good stuff on the paintwork too mate.
Nice work mate!.what tyres will you be putting on the 2118's?.Nankangs?
20mm front and 10mm recaros perfect with these.Up early today for a dawn raid across the Bedfordshire countryside.
Came home with 4 brand new 2118s wearing new R888s. Never even been bolted to a car. 😎👌🏼
Now to decide on some spacers. 😅
