Freshly pc'd cup! 56K beware!!

Spent all day cleaning the cup today with gaz! (gt_gaz) big thanks to him for all his effort and use of the machine and poloishes etc!!!, I did inside on friday and gave it a good wash ready for the big day! Really impressed with the result, it was good to start with, looks great!!!

Well, its a plate my dad took off an old triumph years ago! we are both called Steve Birchall, used to be spaced SB V116, but you cant do that any moor so its just spaced as it should be, been in the family about 25 years! so everyone knows who it is!!

next thing has got to be a wheel refurb, or maybe some 2118's lolbTW... i couldnt ever be arsed getting the exhaust that shiny.... what the hell did you do to it

Get them refurbed!, the exhaust, gaz did while i fit the centre section, it was hooped to be fair, used metal polish and wire wool to start with, then just buffed it with a cloth, its not 100%, but its a lot better!!!

There pretty similiar, it may be a tad lower, have the same setup, the cup has been lower in the past but got picked up a little!, neither of them scrub, have cut some of the arch lining away though, only minimal bits! the 182 scrubs a tiny bit when cornering hard! around a tight roundabout etc, but nothing to worry about! To be honest the cup that you can see in the background has just had some springs fitted, sachs 35MM, and i was impressed at how it sits, not bad at all!!

It ain't so much the greyness but the look of the unit! ...although at night i forget it all, they're great!

Mine's seeing some pc action this week, and some coilies very shortly... it will come up something like this!

how come you applied srp by hand gaz? ive found the results are loads better with a pc and white pad! or were you limited on pads?

I find it tiresome trying to do it all with a PC in one day, already done the car with the yellow, and white pad. Spreding it out over a few days would be better. VIBRATIONS LOL!!! I'd lean towards the blue for srp, but not tried it lol. We destroyed both yellow pads (4"spot and 6" today!!)
