From a 1.4 Dynamique to a 197

  197
Hi All,

Been a while since i last posted but since i last posted i have had a large number of problems with my little dynamique. There came a point when my patience ran out and it has finally gone!

This weekend i ventured out to our local dealers (Arnold Clark, Warrington) and found a rather nice looking 197 with 11,000 miles on the clock for 10,488.

I have decided to take the plunge and buy it!

Does anyone have any recommendations or things that i should look out for when going to pick up the car as this will be my first dealership bought car.

Thanks in advance

Chris

07 Reg with 11,000 on the clock

It was supposed to be 11,500 but they have a sale on at the moment and have knocked a 1000 off.

If it hasnt had an ECU update should they do this free of charge?

Thanks

Edit: I did forget to mention its a Cup with a luxury pack on it.

I just bought a 2007 Nimbus RS197 with climate, Cabasse stereo and extra tinted rear windows. Full history and 21,500 miles. I paid £9990 which included new front tyres and a full valet (which was a rubbish job!!).

Where are all these cheap RS197s that everyone thinks are out there? For what it is worth I think I got a pretty good deal and I think the car at Arnold Clark is well priced. I looked at a 57 plate R27 F1 Team which was £12995..!!

I paid £11k for my R27 with 18k in March, so that's overpriced IMO. That was from Renault Bham too!

£10k, tops. If it's mint.
