Yeah for the complete gearbox including diff and all fabrication
Think you are looking at £1500 without diff as the flywheel is custom made costing about £400-£500! Absolute work of art though, Andy shown me George's flywheel when I collected my car and it is such a shame its hidden away!
George - You crazy! s**t off a well greased shovel comes to mind!
Nice progress
Just wait until you get used to yours you'll soon be upping the boost ha ha
I'm already considering a 2nd engine to send to Andy for forging! But then I'm fully aware it snowballs to O2M, diff, etc. And I've already put about £6k into a car I bought for £2,800 so I am exercising some restraint!

There are cheaper hobbies - that's for sure..
Speaking from experience?Yeah like sniffing large quantities of coke off of a collection of hookers arses.

Flol! I'll book us up to go to Prague then!!!! Hell, I'll even pay your air fare! :lolup:No mate, you should know I cant afford that as you know I spend all my money on cars. Hell I've even bought 2 rollcentre kits off you despite only having 1 working clio currently, lol.

George, has your flywheel been put on yet?
if not im wondering if i could ask a favour which will only require a moment of time and an accurate tape measure...
It's already back together I think mate - I'll ask andy, give me a minute
Ok mate, if it is no worries just trying to satisfy my curiosity
All tucked up in the engine bay now I am afraid mate
no worries. ill take some of my measurments and compare them with the next conversion i come across lol
Phone EFI parts and ask him your questions im sure hell help you no bother
I bug Chris enough lol. It's not that important I'm just curious.
Would be be useful information to have for anyone doing the conversion too
Don't need a change of box to do that though lol
Are them steering wheels better than the standard ones?
Okays, thank you so this increases insurance a bit.Yes because it feels nicer and looks better in my opinion.
No because you loose the airbag.
What's your power goal mate? As the clutch is 240mm you can get away with an organic clutch for a very long time!
4 or 6 pad? 6 pad are way more user friendly than the on/off 4 pad. Cost more though unfortunately. The only thing I would change on mine is the helix paddle clutch, noisey, rattly, snappy thing!! Main thing is it's never slipped I suppose!

You wanna try driving up the internal ramps on a ferry then mate in traffic!! Loads of slipping the clutch, followed by everyone thinking your a dick and showing off when you lift off and all they hear is the turbo chatter!! 2 bar of boost made it, erm, loud! Flol4 pad, the main issue is the chirping/whirring sound when manoeuvring or letting the clutch up after down shifting, junctions etc!
