a wasted day getting the train to nottingham

I was a s**tter, with some gay filter on it. Turns out his "mate" had done the cambelt. Time wasting w**ker
Nottingham? Have you got the link for that ad? See whether I recognise it?

You could always buy mine for a large sum of money ;)

The one in preston. No Cambelt done, no service history. Dent int he roof, scratch down the door. Ran like a bag of nails. Scouse salesman (well, more like a boy). STEER CLEAR

Nottingham flamer. Not as described, Front end has seen paint, large chip on bumper. Chavvy filter on it. Ran alright, but the guy had pissed me off. Lad used to work for renault, so thought he knew everything. Jeb-end

And actually, whilst I am at it

Phuzion off here. Looked mint on the pics. On arrival, was parked up under trees and looked like it had been there a while. Headlights all faded, car hadnt been cleaned. Inside absolutylu REEKED of must. Carpet felt damp.

Said his insurance had gone from £500 to £2000 because of a "speeding offence"

On shutting drivers door, the bump strip wobbled. On closer inspection, the door looked a different shade. Then looking, the rear quarter had quite CLEARY seen paint. It looked like ti had been done with rattle cans, and I could actually still see the lines in the filler under the paint where it hadnt been flatted correctly.

:mad::mad::mad:

Time waster who dont describe properly and expect you to buy just because you have travelled some distance.

Anyways, least I managed to pick up a minted monaco, for cheaper than all the above, and on lower miles!!!!

Nothing worse than going to see a car badly advertised. Drove 140 miles for a gti-6, only for it to be nothing like it was described. I'd normally just walk away, but gave the seller a huge list of faults. Then turned out it was his Brothers car! At least you've found a good one at last.

Glad you got sorted in the end.

I was thinking when I first saw this thread, I had a feeling it would go this way. I never get too hyped up about viewing cars until I've seen it.

I actually saw what looked like a great flamer advertised but I wasn't totally happy when I saw it. Not long after I came across a Monaco too.

Just want to say thank you for posting this thread.

Cookson - how much was it advertised for when you viewed it?
