LOL on our news the other day they caused major problems on the railways as there pinching the tracks! what is the world coming to!

I saw that article, apparently they've been stealing sections, smuggling them back to their garages and sanding all the rust off and giving them a coat of non oem silver before replacing them the following evening :lolup:

Will need wet sanding at least, polish alone won't sort it

use 3000 grit after youve soaked it in fairy and water for 24 hours. just rub away at it lightly. You will need a pc though.

Nah 3000 and 2500 sanding Marks come out easily by hand.

Are you getting the ScratchXXX out after the wetflatting?

that was the plan yes?! it actually t cut stuff that i have but its the same (tcut scrach remover)

It may be in the same looking tube but it is crap, use the Scratch X.

i would probably tend towards using 2500 and then 3000, or just plain 3000 if your going to be using scratch x as it really isn't brilliant at removing wet sanding marks imo.

Maybe worth grabbing some Intensive Polish (PO91L) to use bay hand to speed things up.

Did you bother with the touch up or just wetflat and Scratch XXX
