Glowing & Smoking brake discs after a downhill 1*2

Hi so i got 1*2 equipped with DS performance and standard brembos .
After a downhill session, Not really fast as it was on a public road , Both front brake discs were glowing and smoking.
I assume that it could be from 2 reasons: Brake calipers or Master cylinder .
With that said, I still don't know exactly what to check and i really don't want to shoot the parts cannon this time.
If someone got any suggestion please let me know.

Jack up the front and have someone press the brake and on release try and spin the wheels. If they're difficult to move your brakes are binding. Strip and rebuild.

You rode the brakes on the way down the hill. If you have the same symptoms on the flats then look for a mechanical issue.
