Good tyre company needed tomorrow - Chester

Anyone know of a good (cheap) tyre company around the Chester/North Wales/Ellesmere Port area that i can just go in and get some Eagle F1's, or some PE2's etc etc off the shelf??

Maybe even fit??

I use a place in Wales (Buckley tyres the palce is in Buckley) they have a huge selection of tyres and there cheap.

I'll try and find the place name buit its not diffiuclkt to find its got a daft yeloow sign and the locals wll all know about it

Maple tyres in Ellesmere port, cant find anywhere cheaper. Not sure they stock them though might need to order.

I was quoted £319 fitted for F1's. cheap as chips!

Blimy I complain about paying £200

Have u tried balck circle etc then most places charge £5 a whell to fit and balnce tyres then some want £5 a wheel to jack the car up etc.

Maples quoted me £360 or £380 (iirc) for 4 Exalto 2's.

Not sure about your size, give them a ring 0151-356 4920

Have u tried to see what other sizes tyres you can fit on the wheels.
215/40/16 are cheaper F1's at my tyres are 65.70 each so say £10 for fitment thats £19 less or so.

gave myself a massive flat spot tonight. locked up at speed and burnt a hole in my tyres

I don't buy the tyres I just get them to balance and fit them although I also use another place but there in Wigan and only supply tyres to orderrealy.

I use the normal Continential ones but in 195/50 spec as there much cheaper £36.50 vs £56 each and with the rate I get thought tyres its a fair old saving.

go for v rating not W w is ott for the 182

costco charge about £75 a tyre for PE2s

Ok...

Costco wanted 89 quid each for exaltos & didnt do F1's
Buckley tyre wanted 410 quid for 4x F1's

So got Maples to do 4xF1's all in for 320quid.

Not great... but not bad i s'pose.
