head unit bad earth?

hi fellas
I got a pioneer DEH-600BT

also 4 pioneer speakers(2x100W, 2x120W)(also a sub)

everytime im listening to the radio(including iphone,cd)
and I turn on the dims(doesn't happen with parkers though!!!)

the sound from the radio goes blank until i turn off the radio and turn it back on........
I have hid4u hid boxes

any ideas?

My HID's used to affect the signal on my radio too, or something like that iirc. Weird.

hids never effected my aftermarket radio. ruined reception on the standard one though, well i think it was that lol
