Help connecting ps3 to internet

Anybody done this using the telewest/virgin media modem? ive tried using my netgear wireless router but cant get it to work, im no good with cables and stuff, infact anything to do with technology, some help is mucho needed.

If your using a wireless router something I had to do to connect my 360 upto the internet was turn off the safety and make it a closed network (Don't have to make it closed, it just helps for people hacking onto your network)

Give it a try, worked for me
