HELP! Hub to arch- different each side????

  Superleggera'd MK3
Hi guys

fitted my coilovers yesterday and went today to try get them tracked, but the chap said it would be a bit pointless as on the rear, there is a different of 1cm each side. The right side is 35cm between centee cap of wheel and the arch and the left side is 36cm. However, both adjusters are are the lowest they will go and are locked off. The only thing i could think of is that the petrol tank is on the right side, hence why its lower? If so, could i just raise the right side up a little to balance it out?

thanks
kieron

They better be lol they came in the same kit! Think i will have to raise it a bit tbh, cant get on the ramp to have it tracked anyway ;)

is it ok to run with the coilovers at different heights if the measurements are leveled out either side?

maybe their floor isn't completely flat tbh, when i park on my driveway the car sits lower at one side due to the drive way....

and I have to physically lift my car to get a jack under ;) other than that it has to be flat ramps :p

Nah there is definetly a differnce, tried measuring it in a few different places.

Haha nice mate! Good workout for you! I got to drive onto some wood to get it jacked at the front :)

It was the front wheels i wanted adjusting with the tracking. But gotta sort the height issue out at the back first
