Help please! Fitting new headunit

  z4
Hi there

I have just purchased a pioneer head unit - I think I have figured out all the wiring but I can't get the unit to slot into the dash properly! It slots in and fits perfectly but I can't see how to secure it - it doesn't 'clip in' like the original unit. It has come with its own housing.

Do I need to buy an additional bracket?
Car is a clio 182 with update list
Thanks!

I would think he wasn't pushing it in far enough. the space behind the HU is very tight so you have to make sure all the wires are out of the way.

I had trouble getting my Alpine in due to a stubborn wire that kept getting caught behind it. There's really bugger all room back there.

It's not too bad once you're used to it. Main thing is getting things below or to the side of the stereo rather than behind it.

Yeah, I put most of it to the left next to the airbag and then some below CC panel. I had wiring for one of those Alpine power pack things to deal with as well as a stalk adaptor!

I had the iso connectors, remote out, sub RCAs out, Front L/R RCAs out, Video in RCAs, Video Out RCAs, USB, iPod video and audio in 3.5mm jacks, navigation feed, bluetooth feed, TV feed, fused power supply brick, and christ knows what else lol.
