how do 1*2's compare with starlet/glanza turbos?

They're quick. About 7 ish to 60 iirc... so will keep with an OE 172/182. With a few mods they make around 170bhp, then they'll paste a Clio.

Mainly due to the face they weigh bugger all.

1.3 Turbo, many UK insurers list them as a 1.3 n/a... hence the low premium.

Don't do it, go through a specialist who knows about the car, otherwise be prepared for a stern bumming if you biff it.

Actually, a mate has just fully rebuilt his and now running a p1 turbo at 1.40 bar (iirc) made 240bhp on the rollers. Not been in it yet but i imagine it will be a little nippy....

i questioned these "stats" earlier..couldnt believe that speed to 100...

might be 80-100 or something...

not quicker or close to the clio sport handling in standard form, you will need to spend money on it to make it as fun as a clio sport. cheap to tune engine and get amazing gains.
