A friend posted this on another forum and it did amuse me, whether you lot will appreciate it or not (as you don't know the guy) I don't know.
did some general maintainance/ cleaning, now having studied the show/shine threads on here I felt i had a fair understanding of the correct paint friendly proceedures needed to such a task.
So i took the Bootlid which was filthy into the warmth of the house in order to maintain a constant working temperature.
removed the spoiler to reveal
Then using the 'head and shoulders' I degreased and conditioned the paintwork. I've heard of paintwork conditioning before and never known much about it, it really does add lovely life and bounce.
Nicely cleaned
Having understood the two bucket method, i didn't have two buckets so i moved onto the next best thing
Check out the perfect colour match of the cars respray
Next Stage was the engine cover which was equally as dirty
this time Radox was employed to 'soak away the tension using sage and sea minerals'
applied using the tip and pour method
for a lovely finish
I can see how this stuff can take so long now.
